Embark on a journey through the heart and soul of the DC Universe as we unpack James Gunn's thrilling updates, where I, your comic-savvy guide, will navigate through the buzz surrounding the 'Superman Legacy' film and the potential of Milestone adaptations. The air is electric with anticipation, and we're on the edge of our seats longing for the sparse details around Jeffrey Wright's involvement with 'The Batman' sequel. Enthusiasm runs high as we unravel the cinematic mysteries, leaving us all in eager expectation for what's poised to unfold on our screens.

This week's Read of the Week casts a celebratory spotlight on the exemplary work of Cody Ziegler in "Miles Morales" and "Spider-Punk," where black excellence shines bright in the comic realm. Diving into Ziegler's narrative artistry, I share my personal reflections from an exclusive interview with the man himself, giving us a rare peek behind the creative curtain. The introduction of compelling characters and the march toward the 300th legacy issue of "Miles Morales" signals a remarkable moment in comic history, one that commands attention from aficionados and newcomers alike.

Culminating this episode, we take an emotional excursion with the "One Love" movie, an intimate portrayal of Bob Marley's life that resonates deep within the soul. Kingsley Ben-Adir's transformative performance as Marley and the cast’s rendition of Marley's life during a formative period delivers a cinematic masterpiece that transcends mere entertainment. As we explore the powerful themes of peace, love, and unity in Marley's music, I'm reminded of the harmony that binds us all together, much like the serene coexistence within the animal kingdom. This film is not just a recommendation, but an experience that promises to echo through the hearts of generations.

You can find the one in 100 podcast show there, or you can follow me on Instagram at the black podcaster. With a six Listen man, I'm feeling good. I'm feeling great.

Speaker 1:

I went out tonight with my wife and my youngest daughter and we went to go see the Bob Marley one love movie. So I'll definitely going to give a somewhat of a spoiler free review on that later on in the episode, for sure. So stick around. We're going to do that in the breakdown. It's been a while since I talked about some music. So yeah, we're definitely going to get into that. Also, we got some stuff that we got to get to in the quick hits and we're going to start it off with a little bit of James Gunn and DCU news. He made some announcements for Superman Legacy.

Speaker 1:

Now if you have been listening to the show for the past, you know couple months or so you know that your boy is super excited about the James Gunn Peter Saffron takeover over there at DC and I'm actually excited for this. Super. Who would have thought? Okay, I've never really got into Superman In the comics. I did collect a few issues recently, the Joshua Williamson run, like the first five or six issues of that run because Jamal Campbell was doing the artwork for it. But once he got off I kind of got off. So I'm not really like a huge Superman fan, like that man, like unfortunately, I'm just not like he's. He's cool, he ain't. But I am a James Gunn fan and I'm excited about this movie.

Speaker 1:

He's been, you know, answering questions all over social media. There was actually a one of those DC phone calls the other day or earlier this week where David Zasloff was just talking about what he's seen so far of the new DC stuff you know, led by James Gunn and Peter Saffron, and he's excited about it. He loves what they're doing Investor calls, I think that's what it's called an investor's call, but you know he's excited about what he's seeing and he definitely knows that we'll all be seeing some things soon. And you know, someone asked James Gunn that question on social media I think it was threads and he asked if they were going to be talking about or making any further announcements at, like, comic Con or anything like that or, like you know, live streaming, and James Gunn kind of just replied, like are those the only options? You know, like you know, just being funny. So that means we're just going to be getting some stuff. Probably in the next couple months we're going to be learning more, maybe some new announcements Hopefully. I ain't gonna lie, man. I really hope he announces at least one milestone project. They really got us hyped up when they were bringing milestone back and they were talking animated stuff, they were talking movies and all this stuff like that, and my good friends over at the Black Comic Lords actually touched on this, I want to say, wednesday night, and they were talking about, you know, if they would just give us something with static, you know that would just be fire and I have 100% agree. So I'm hoping that they announce something with milestone in the Elseworld area, because I mean, you have this Elseworld situation with DC where you got stuff like the Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves, batman, the Joker, like all these things that don't really connect. So you do you have the opportunity to do it, so hopefully they do. But you know that's really cool that David Zasloff is happy, you know, with what's going on with the new DC MCU, because he was cutting a lot of stuff out, trimming the fat and getting DC together and you know so far he's excited about what you know James Gunn and Peter Saffron are bringing. But there was also some big news trending recently with James Gunn as well in DC.

Speaker 1:

He kind of talked about the Superman project, like I mentioned earlier. But he basically said in this quote he said I'm overjoyed to be announcing the start of principal photography on Superman. He did this in all caps today, february 29, which just so happens to be coincidentally I was, can't pronounce that word an unplanned Superman's birthday. So they're starting the shooting, the principal photography, on Superman's anniversary. So that's really dope. And then he also kind of talked like he talked about the title and if you go and read this quote you can find this on varietycom. He put Superman in all caps, right, and we've all been, you know talking about this movie and we've been putting Superman legacy. Well, he got into that, he said when I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman legacy. By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was Superman and this is in all caps. He added making our way to you July 2025. So that's really cool, man.

Speaker 1:

Just some more updates about this first movie that's gonna be coming out and then you know I've spoke about this before, but this movie has a lot of pressure on it. It needs to set the tone for the DCU. Unfortunately, that's what happens when you're first you know. So James Gunn is is well vested in this and, yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing what he brings to this movie. Moving on, you know we got some news from Jeffrey Wright and his role in the Batman and or the Batman 2, which I still don't think they got in scripts for that, that movie yet. But it makes sense because Matt Reeves is just now finishing up on the Penguin series, which kind of got delayed because of the writer strike and everything like that an actor strike so he wasn't able to really work on the Batman, but Jeffrey Wright was doing an interview because he was nominated for an Oscar for his movie.

Speaker 1:

What's the movie called American fiction. There we go, american fiction, you're bugging a little old, but, man, what if you haven't seen American fiction? Please, yeah, man, please, go see that movie. It is an incredible movie. Jeffrey Wright did his thing in there. Damn, what's the? What's the actress's name? She played Maxine on Living Single. But yeah, she's in there, erica Wright. No, erica, can't think of her last name right now, but she played Max on Living Single. So I was, I was really excited about that movie and before I saw it and then it got like limited release and I was kind of like sad about that. But then I got a chance to see it. Once it finally got like you know, it got released everywhere and man, what a freaking movie. Yo go check that out if you haven't watched it.

Speaker 1:

But he was being interviewed about that. And then he was asked about the Batman 2 and he kind of gave his thoughts on, you know, the character that he plays, which is Jim Gordon, and he was saying that he would love for Matt Reeves to do more of like a background story with Jim Gordon, like dig a little deeper, kind of like talk about his private life. You know, like, what happens when Jim Gordon takes off his mask. You know essentially of you know working with Batman and being on these streets at Gotham, like how is his life at home and what are some of the things that he has to deal with. And, honestly, you know, when you give an Oscar Award nominated acting job or role, I feel like you can ask for things like this. So I feel like this is perfect timing for him to put this out in interview and I honestly I think it is kind of a good idea to like dig a little deeper with Jim Gordon, because you know he's he's a super important character in Gotham and his life has been very, very crazy.

Speaker 1:

You know when, even when he's not dealing with Batman and and it's a very interesting story and I wanted to talk about real quick just some of the top Jim Gordon comic books that you know that you, that you should probably read, and some of them that I've actually read and pulling on my list right now, work with me. Here we go. So the first one is killing joke, crazy story, brutal story. Some things happen to Barbara Gordon via the Joker and it is just an insane story. There is a animated movie out about it, but I would suggest reading the comic because it's just crazy.

Speaker 1:

Black mirror, which is another story revolving around Jim Gordon and his family, but this time it's about his son, and that that was just a beautiful story it was. It was it was sad. In certain points it was just very good. It's one of those page Turner comics, but obviously I read it in the trade and the person behind the Bat cow is not who you think it is, so that's a really good one. Another one, batman year one. Obviously we've already kind of did a year one story almost, but it was more like year two. So Jim Gordon and Batman already kind of like already had a relationship, but in this, like you're getting like the the foundation of their relationship and how they both decide to like take on Gotham. So that's a really good story.

Speaker 1:

No man's land is one that I haven't read yet. I know I need to. It's on my list of Batman stories. Gotham Central is another one that I have not read and the funny thing is I actually have volume one of that trade paperback and I sold it back to Kaboom, back to Isaac, because I found out that they were coming out with a like a compendium, but hardcover and it had all the stories in there and I honestly I never went and bought it. But I do want that book eventually. But there's a lot to get into with with Jim Gordon and I think DC should definitely do that. Man Like I don't. I don't see why they would think that will be a bad thing to take a little bit off of Pattinson and the Batman story. But it just depends on what direction they're going in and who the villain's going to be and how I can kind of all tie together. But it'll be interesting to see. And that'll do it for the quick hits with. This week.

Speaker 1:

There are some stuff that came out about um Thunderbolts and how Sebastian Stan, aka Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, is not really going to have that big of a role. Possibly, like his name is Daniel Ratman. He was like one of those industry insiders who we talk about a lot of his topics sometimes are here on this show. I really think he's a paid insider. But whatever he's saying, that Winter Soldier's role will be a little bit Low-key in this movie and they're going to focus more on the other characters, which I'm not mad at. I mean, I feel like we've gotten enough of the Bucky Barnes Winter Soldier story. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets killed off in this story, in this movie Be honest with you just to be brought back in secret wars. But I didn't want to go too crazy on that because it is what it is. So, uh, yeah, with that said, we're going to take a quick break. We're going to come back with, uh, some comic book talk. Uh, I read three stories. I have a lot of stories to read, but I have read, I got a chance to read three of them and, uh, we'll talk about them on the other side after this.

Speaker 1:

It's the one and one hundred podcast. Keep, keep, keep it 100 and we are back. You are listening to the one and one hundred podcast. I am your host, amir, aka the black podcaster. Welcome back, welcome back. Uh, listen, it's. It's been a crazy ass week, man, I'll be honest with you guys.

Speaker 1:

Um, I did a post on on my instagram page as I take a drag. It is awesome cigar ain't gonna lie man. This is, um, this is called deadwood. Sweet Jane, I think it's by um, I think it's by druis states, but this is a really, really good cigarillo, little small one. Hold on one second. Let me like this thing. Yeah, that's nice man. It's like sweet, like chocolate. I ain't gonna front, I like that.

Speaker 1:

But I did a post on my instagram page and I was talking about staying in your lane and how important that is, uh, and how you can kind of Mess things up for a lot of other people when you don't stay in your lane. And the reason why it's important to stay in your lane is because god has a plan for you and I'm not gonna sit here and preach because we want to talk about some books. But you know, I did post that on there and I and I feel like it's important to remind people to stay in their lane sometimes, uh, and I remind myself to stay in my lane all the time. You know I see other shows. I watch other. You know other shows in the community. I hit that like button. You know I listen to the black comic lords and um, bj kicks. You know I see what he's doing every week with putting out the books are coming out every week, very informative, um, when it comes to that type of stuff, you know, and I listen to all the other podcasts, like, not just in the comic book space and sometimes you tend to want to get out of your lane and do what other people are doing. Um, because you feel that it works and you know, I have to remind myself, nobody can do what I do and and nobody can do it the way that I like the way that I do it, you know, and I can't do things the way other people do things. You know, I got to stay in this lane. I've been podcasting, uh, since 2018, and you know it's it's slowly growing, but it's growing and the more I do, the more I work at it, the more people are going to be here. You're here and I appreciate you, so I'm gonna stay in my lane, I'm gonna do what I have to do, but, yeah, I definitely had to post that on instagram today, but you know, enough of that, let's get into it.

Speaker 1:

It's time for Read of the Week. Yes, yes, yes, you heard what I said is reads of the week, man, and if you're new to the podcast, this is when I get an opportunity to talk about some of the books that I read this week, or you know that might have came out this week or came out last week, um. So it's uh. You know, I started off doing this show only talking about comic books and music and then it slowly went into the, the trending topics of things. But you know, I love comics and I love reading them and this week was actually a really dope week for me, Um, and my fandom, uh, because Miles Morales, issue 17, came out, and spiderpunk issue one of volume two came out is called arms race came out and, um, it's written by the same writer, you know, it's written by the same writer, the great Cody Ziegler. Shout out to him and he, uh, to me. This is what I love Seeing in comic books when a black man could put out two comics that are the story is revolving around black characters. He put both of these comics out on the same imprint, the same day and it's just super dope, man. Like. That's black excellence in my pay, in my opinion, uh, and I'm so happy for Cody Ziegler. I've actually done. It was a weird type of interview. He didn't have time to like actually sit down with me, so I sent him questions and he answered the questions and that just kind of like showed off my editing skills. So if you definitely, you know, if you get a chance, definitely go back and listen to that episode with Cody Ziegler man. But, um, he's a great, freaking writer man.

Speaker 1:

I really could not stand Gang wars. Literally. The only reason why I read Anything from gang wars is one I don't miss out on uh, miles Morales. That's my, that's my comic book spider-man. I grew up watching Peter Parker and amazing spider-man. You know cartoons and everything, like everybody else that grew up in the 90s. But when I started reading comics I found Miles Morales and I went back and got old stuff, you know, and I've never stopped. So I was going to read that story regardless, because it's just Miles, it's in my pool. So I picked that up and I picked up, um, the Luke Cage stuff because Rodney Barnes was writing that. But gang wars, to me, was just wasn't any good. It wasn't like I don't like doing crossovers, no more. So I'm I'm going to be hating, hating on it, period.

Speaker 1:

But I will say Cody Ziegler wrote his ass off in that whole storyline and now he's able to get back to his story, even though he tied his story into it. Of course. I mean, that's what you're supposed to do, man. This is a really good cigar, but that's what you're supposed to do, but it just took. It just took the steam out of things for me for a little bit, but he's such a good writer. He made his part of the story pretty, pretty interesting. So so, when now we're on issue, I think it's 17 and it's actually legacy number 299, so I'm pretty sure I have every single book. So, yeah, this would be my 299 issue of of Miles Morales, which is super dope and this was a big issue.

Speaker 1:

Man rabble, who has been Trying to kill miles more Alice and she had popped on the scene in this story. She's, you know, she's back with the vengeance and you know, agent gal, who was a part of the gang wars, is not feeling like she's getting the respect she deserves in In New York City right now. So she's choosing sides, which I thought was pretty interesting. But I just love the fact that we still are getting misty night in this story. We're still getting damn, what's her name? Miles's girlfriend, she's in this story like it's just a super cool book and it's setting up some craziness to go down with the issue 300 or issue 18, legacy number 300. So I'm looking forward to that. On the other side you got spiderpunk Arms race. That was really cool, really fun.

Speaker 1:

We're getting a glimpse at Doc Ock in this story and you know he's creating Something to kind of take over the city. We'll just say that. And of course Miles has his team, or not miles he be brown has his team of Misfits you know his punks and they're. They're rocking out all over the city as far as the fighting goes. But we actually got two new characters, quote-unquote, introduced in in this, in this universe. We got spoilers for the spoiler. If you don't want to hear this move forward and don't, don't, don't listen, I'm sorry. All right, you're ready, you turn me down or you, whatever you might have done. We got to challa insuring this drop, let's drop a bomb for them for that. You know. We got to challa insurey making an appearance in this and it's actually an older version of to challa and sure, he's like probably teenagers still, but it's an older version of To challa. So I really enjoyed that read.

Speaker 1:

I read Six fingers. I think that's what it's called. Six fingers. It's the book that I talked about Maybe last week or the week before, where it's called like the one hand is a four issue, many written by Ram V, and then yeah, the six fingers is a four issue, many written by his partner, dan waiters, and this side of the story, you know, because it's like a crossover event, you know. But you're getting two different points of views. So you get a point of view of the detective, you get a point of view of the, the person that's behind these crimes. So we actually get the origin story of this character in this. We find out how he got that, that sixth finger, and we're also finding out that maybe he doesn't know that he, you know, has issues. Was just leaving at that, but really dope, really dope story.

Speaker 1:

I got some other stuff that I got to read that I picked up this week. I gotta read Duke, and what else do I gotta read? I gotta read Duke and I gotta read Ministry of compliance, for sure, issue what to I gotta read? Or issue three maybe. Think is yeah, yeah, issue three, and I gotta read new burn, issue 15. I think it's the penultimate issue. And I gotta read Cobra commander. I didn't, I didn't read that last week. So, yeah, I got nice little weekend here Scheduled for myself and I do. I might go pick up Zorro man of the dead issue to cause my issue. One was actually pretty dope Not going for it. But yeah, that was some some of the books that I read this this week From from new comic book day and some from you know one from last week.

Speaker 1:

Oh, real quick, before we get out of reads of the week, a book that I read and Enjoyed off the recommendation of my brother K, shout out to the Chabada boys. Hopefully we'll be getting back soon If we can get something squared away in a better situation in my recording space. But Justice League or Jurassic League Jurassic League, that is another A comic book insider. I don't remember this one's name, but he said that DC Is actually well, james Gunn is actually planning on Turning the Jurassic League by Daniel Warren Johnson Into an animated series. Not gonna knock on la y'all, that's a freaking amazing book. It's a very awesome story. I read it in trade. K was picking it up weekly or monthly. I mean, he was enjoying it, man. He was loving it, love it, love it's like.

Speaker 1:

My goal is to get a mirror to read this and I did and it was freaking amazing. So if they turn this into an animated series, let's see. I ain't gonna be mad. I ain't gonna be mad at all, okay. So yeah, I can't wait to see if that's actually true or not. But all right, that's it for reason. A week we're zooming through man. So I wanted to talk about something in the breakdown. I mean, in the breakdown I had a topic that I wanted to discuss, but we can do it at a later date because I was able to go out and see Bob Marley. One man I ain't gonna front, man, I ain't gonna lie Almost cried in this movie.

Speaker 1:

Yo, I almost cried in this movie, and it's because of Of what I said about staying in your lane. So I had this moment earlier today at work, right. Then I go see this movie. One love and you know I'm not close. I'm gonna try not to spoil this, got no, not everybody can go out to the movies. So I'm gonna do my best to dance around this thing.

Speaker 1:

But one thing I will say Bob Marley knew his lane and he stayed in it. He knew his purpose and he stayed in it. He knew the course that his God had for him and he rode it all the way into. The wheels fell off at the age of 36 and this movie it's not one of those movies where they start off with baby Bob and then teenage Bob, and then get discovered Bob, and now he's older and, you know, success, like it wasn't like that. They picked a certain time period of his life Right before, like a little bit before things really jumped off globally and it went from there to the, you know, kind of to the end of his life. So, but it hit all of his major points that we, that you know fans, know, but they didn't know the things that were taking place behind the scenes.

Speaker 1:

All right, and there was a lot of moments in this movie, you know, when it came to some of the songs that they picked for him to perform on them in the movie. First off, let me just say the cast. Wow, I don't even know how I skip past this. The cast was amazing. King, kingsley, kingsley I think his name is Ben, ben, idea, I think that's how you say his name, but Kingsley that's, I know that's his first name he actually did an incredible job as Bob Marley. It was times where I didn't understand what the hell he was saying, but that's what made it feel even more realistic Because, like, if I was, you know, a young man at that time talking to Bob Marley, there was probably going to be some things I was going to need him to repeat. You know it wasn't going to be. You know, straight through conversation, you know there was going to be some things that would get lost in translation. So he did an incredible job.

Speaker 1:

The actress that played Rita, martin Marley, did an incredible job and their love story, their love story, her support for him, wow, wow. I will say this you know I think I have my Rita Marley for sure. I'm not her Bob Marley. I ain't out here making babies all over the place with a whole bunch of different women. You know like I'm not doing that, but you know she does support me. My wife does support me in a way where I'm able to come out here and record my podcast and you know she asked me how it went and things like that, you know. So you know. And then we can go out and have dinner and laugh at home and watch TV shows and you know I feel inspired by her in certain things, maybe not with the podcasting, but with other ideas and things that we want to do together. So you know it was emotional because I feel like I found that woman and then to see my Rita Marley and then to see. You know the things that her and Bob were dealing with, but you know her to always keep it real with him, no matter what. Wow, that was, that was beautiful, okay, so that was awesome.

Speaker 1:

I love being able to see some of the moments where he was writing or creating some of these songs and things like that. One of my favorite songs is Exodus. I love that song. I love war. That's an amazing song. Of course, I love steer it up or and and is it called funky reggae party? It's a funky reggae party. Yeah, I love that song. So, of course, buffalo soldier and all these things, you know jamming and you know he just has so many freaking hits and even when his you know his the label that he was signed to knew he was talented. There was always, there was still some pushback on certain music that he wanted to put out, but he knew his lane and he knew his, his, what his journey had to be. So, man, it was just a beautiful movie.

Speaker 1:

Don't go in there expecting a lot of performances, you know, you know. So I'm glad that I heard that before I saw the movie, because I would have probably been a little bit sad, but the amount of performances you get in this movie is perfect. And you know, at the beginning of the movie you get told like this is about the stuff that you guys may not know. You know what I'm saying. So that was really cool. Yeah, definitely go see the movie and I will say you can take your kids to see this. We took our youngest daughter. She had been wanting to. You know she wanted to see it. She's kind of like my biopic kid or biopic kid she likes to see, you know, movies about artists and stuff like that. So, like we all want to go see the Whitney Houston movie together, us three, we went to go see this one. I told her like hey, we got to go see the Michael Jackson movie when that comes out and you best believe your boy is going to be talking about that when that comes out.

Speaker 1:

But, man, you know for for Bob Marley to pass away at 36 years old from Melanoma, which is a skin cancer, for him to pass away at that age and I'm sure he passed away in a in a, in peace, because he was very religious, you know, for him to pass away at the age of 36 and for him to still be, like, as popular as he is and known, well known. You know kids may not know his name but a lot of kids know a lot of his songs and you know I don't want to put like I hate going through and comparisons and stuff, but I'm going to say it I feel like Bob Marley is probably on the Michael Jackson level as far as being known worldwide and that's really dope. You know, the diet 36 and your legacy lives on for this long, like he has lived, like his legacy is outlived, him Like. I mean, he passed away at 36 in 1981. You know I was born in 86, you know I'm 37. So his, his legacy of what he's done is actually live longer than Bob Marley is going to live longer. You know it's going to live longer than me. So you know it's just really cool to see, you know, representation of a black man, his black wife and the message that they were trying to spread, which was love, peace, freedom, harmony. You know joy, laughter, family. You know like that was an incredible message and there is a great documentary called Marley that you can definitely go see. That goes into even more about his life.

Speaker 1:

But just to see this on the screen, you know one of my cousins Shout out to my big, my big cousin, kadeer. He had said in a group chat I think I had sent some stuff about the Michael Jackson movie and, and he was like yo, this is awesome, but when are we gonna be getting some Stories like that have not been told or or something like that? I can't remember exactly how you put it, but I want it was more on the lines of like, why did like? We know so much about these people? Why do we keep telling their stories over and over again? Like, let's get some new stories. And you know, I, I, I agree with part of that, and the part I agree with is, yes, we need new stories. We need new stories, yes, but the stories that they're choosing to tell right now, I feel they're amazing.

Speaker 1:

They have to be told over and over again because these are people that did a super hero type of shit, whether it be their music going all around the world or their message, you know, of love, or just their ability to Perform and sing. Like some of this stuff no one's ever going to be able to do again, because Everybody's, everybody's always being compared to some of these Legends all the time. So if you're constantly comparing someone To a legend all the time. You know their legacy is just never gonna die and they're gonna. They're just superheroes. You know Michael Jackson. You know, with with all the BS that they all, you know they always comes up with his name. He's, he was still a freaking superhero.

Speaker 1:

Yo, bob Marley. Superhero Whitney Houston, where her voice like Superhero voice man you know I can't speak to her character, but her voice there will be. There will never be another Whitney Houston. Aretha Franklin, you know Ray Charles. Like these people are superheroes, you know real ones, like they were leaping buildings in a single bound. You know they were out running people every day.

Speaker 1:

So I Agree with my cousin when he says we need new stories. You know we need other Other relatable topics. You know that we can talk about and I and I agree, I agree with that. But we cannot, we cannot Forget that are some of these stories that are being told our stories. They'll never be done again this way. I don't care how popular you think you are and you're never going to be on any of these people's levels and their superheroes. And it's just good to shine a light on a man.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, I loved the Bob Marley one love movie. Please go see it. If you have it, if it's in your theaters and everything, go go catch it, because they were only I think they only had two showings tonight, on a Friday night, so it's starting to dwindle down. So if you got a chance to see it and you can, you can make time and you got a Chance to go, do it. Okay, go get yourself a big box of popcorn, get you some cherry coke. That's the only time I drink dark soda is when I'm at the movies and I don't go to movies that much. But yeah, get your nice something of soda, or if you're going to one that serves alcohol, get whatever you need. But Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride of the Bob Marley one love movie and hopefully, when you leave that movie, you come out feeling the love and the, the, the peace that Bob Marley wanted to Unleash on the world.

Speaker 1:

Because I definitely did. You know, and I learned some things about some of the Words that I would hear him say. I'll say one of them is I and I, when that's a term that he always says in a lot of his songs I and I. I never understood what the freak that meant. And then in this movie, I found out what it meant and Wow, wow.
